Japan’s Setouchi Region on 35mm Film
Written By Samantha O'Brochta
My sixth adventure to Japan offered a unique opportunity to explore a region I had never visited before, thanks to a gracious invitation from the Japan National Tourism Organization. Having spent significant time in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, I was eager to venture beyond the usual hubs and discover the hidden gems of the Setouchi region. As always, I brought my film camera along to capture a more authentic, analog perspective of my favorite country. These images were shot using my Olympus XA loaded with Kodak Ultramax 400 film.
