If I had known as an emo teenager that all my time on social media would become my career someday, I would've maybe been a little happier and less moody. After college, I discovered that I had a natural talent towards using social media as a tool for businesses. Over the years I have put my creative skills to use through social media for various clients. The following are a select few that I am the most proud of.
From September 2015 to May 2017, I was a member of Team Takei, who community manage celebrity George Takei's web presence. While on the team, we successfully raised his following and engagement an incredible amount. With over 10 million fans on Facebook alone, we were a leader in the fight for social justice and humor.
Since June 2017, I have been the social media producer for the travel publication Matador Network. I run the Facebook page, Instagram, build the weekly email newsletters, create viral content, liaise with the video team, manage ads, compile data on top performing content and engage with the community across our social reach.
Allegiance On Broadway
The Broadway musical Allegiance, ran from October 2015 to February 2016 and during this time, I assisted in the creation and design of marketing materials for various social media platforms and advertising placements. I returned to the project to create promotional items for the December 2016 and February 2017 movie theatre releases.
